The planked salmon boards are equipped with a stainless steel bone to secure the fillet to the planked salmon board. This is practical and much more hygienic than wooden nails. All planked salmon boards are delivered with a stainless steel board holder that allows for 5 angle settings. I recommend always positioning the board vertically. The planked salmon boards can be used with my board holder on fire bowls, kettle grills, and with an adapter, also on a plancha.
