The Whole Story

A little over 10 years ago, I discovered this amazing fish dish from Scandinavia. It was at a family celebration, actually; no one knew about it except the host, who had learned about it during a visit to Finland. Everyone was thrilled. After a few parties at my place, where I served flame-grilled salmon to our guests, everyone thought it was sensational.
The idea then ripened to do more with it, so I quickly consulted Dr. Google, and lo and behold, there was hardly anything to be found. The selection was very limited, and the handling left much to be desired, so it virtually had to be reinvented. After a few attempts and initial prototypes, the flame-grilled salmon plank, which I still offer today, was created.
Over the years, this has been continuously optimized and became groundbreaking. I was the first to offer the fillet holder with elongated holes, I developed the reversible plank, and the plank holder can now be used on various fire sources, for example, on a kettle grill, fire bowl, and grill plates. Initially, there was only one model; today, there are 3 variations with 2 different types of wood.
